چکیده
Effective and inexpensive adsorbents are needed for wastewater treatment. This study describes the use of Cu/natural zeolite as an adsorbent in adsorption remazol black b dye terms kinetics isotherms. Cu/zeolite was obtained by activating natural using HCl NH4Cl solution then impregnated Cu(NO3)2.3H2O solution. Characterization XRD, SEM-EDX tools. Adsorption with a batch system carried out at various contact times 5, 15, 20, 60, 300 minutes well variations concentration 10, 25, 30 ppm. UV-Vis spectrophotometer used to measure The data were tested on kinetic equations pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, intraparticle diffusion. isotherms analyzed Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Harkin-Jura, Jovanovic, Halsley, Elovich results showed that based SEM images, after activation form smaller more organized granules than activation. XRD analysis had structure 42.8% mordenite, 39.8% clinoptilolite, 17% quartz. EDX mass percentage Cu 1.58%. Equilibrium time reached 300th minute capacity 0.4299 mg/g. largest initial 25 ppm value 0.0691 mg/gram. followed pseudo-second-order Langmuir isotherm pattern.

The dye of wastewater is a major environmental problem. Chemical and biological treatment of wastewaters containing dye is difficult due to the low level of adsorption and chemical stability of dyes. Activated carbon is usually used for adsorption of these materials, but because of high prices and restore problems, researchers trying to find available, low-cost materials with high adsorption.
